PTC Punjabi continued to dominate UK ratings on Sunday, while Sony TV was in close second place, in a lacklustre day for UK Asian TV ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
PTC Punjabi topped data with a share of 0.08%, followed by Sony TV with 0.07%, Colors with 0.04%, Hum TV, Geo TV, ZEE Cinema, Venus TV and Sony MAX with 0.03%, Star Plus, Star Gold, New Vision TV, Sony SAB TV and Sony MAX 2 with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.
PTC Punjabi’s strong display of programming from 15:00 – midnight, kept the channel at the No.1 position for the second day running. Its audience averaged with over 10,000 viewers during the specified time band.
On Sony TV, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ attracted 32,500 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Superstar Singer’ at 20:00 with 19,700 viewers and repeat of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 23:00 with 12,100 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Dance Deewane’ got its biggest ratings of the series with 36,900 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Kawach’ at 22:30 with 8,400 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Madiha Maliha’ fetched 11,600 viewers, followed by ‘Choti Choti Baatein’ at 22:00 with 11,200 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Nach Baliye’ special at 20:00 pulled in 17,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Divya Drishti’ at 21:00 with 11,000 viewers.
On ZEE TV, ‘Dance India Dance’ raked in 8,600 viewers.
