Overnights: PTC Punjabi clinches No.1 spot on Friday in UK

PTC Punjabi topped UK ratings on Friday, with a comfortable lead over its rivals, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

PTC Punjabi delivered a share of 0.19%, followed by Sony TV with 0.09%, Star Plus with 0.07%, Colors Rishtey, Dunya News and New Vision TV with 0.05%, Colors with 0.04%, Hum TV, Sony SAB TV, Aaj Tak and ZEE Cinema with 0.03%, ZEE TV, Samaa TV, B4U Movies, NDTV 24×7 and Geo TV with 0.02% and Republic Bharat with 0.01%.

PTC Punjabi’s strongest time band on Friday was between 15:00 and 18:00, which consists of Gurbani from the Golden Temple, Amritsar. The channel attracted 35,800 viewers during that slot, followed by 29,700 viewers between 18:00 and 21:00.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ was watched by 37,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 21:30 with 26,100 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 14:30 with 20,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Anupamaa’ was top show with 25,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 22,000 viewers, ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ at 20:30 with 21,100 viewers, ‘Sanjeev Kapoor’s Kitchen’ at midday with 19,900 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 15,800 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 14,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Shakti’ delivered 30,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Shubharambh’ at 20:30 with 23,500 viewers.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘Aitraaz’ led with 7,700 viewers at 22:30.

On Hum TV, ‘Na Laaiq’ pulled in 16,900 viewers at 23:00.

On Geo TV, ‘Tamana’ raked in 17,300 viewers at 21:00.
