Overnights: PTC Punjabi breaks UK ratings record at No.1 on Sunday

PTC Punjabi surprised many by clinching the No.1 position on Sunday, with record high figures, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

PTC Punjabi was well ahead of its rival channels with an impressive share of 0.17%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.11%, Hum TV with 0.09%, New Vision TV and Aaj Tak with 0.07%, Star Plus and Dunya News with 0.05%, ZEE TV and NDTV 24×7 with 0.04%, Geo TV and Colors with 0.03% and ARY Family with 0.02%.

PTC Punjabi ruled yesterday with a huge audience jump between 15:00 – 22:30. Its average audience hovered around 30,000 viewers during those seven hours, which included live Gurbani and Punjabi film.

On Sony TV, ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 delivered 56,300 viewers, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 28,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Suno Chanda’ was watched by 52,800 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Siraat-e-Mustaqeem’ at 20:30 with 34,600 viewers and ‘Khaas’ with 15,100 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Veera’ re-run at 13:00 pulled in 25,600 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ re-run with 19,100 viewers and ‘Raja Rasoi Aur Andaz Anokha’ with 9,800 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:30 delivered 14,800 viewers and film ‘Welcome Back’ raked in 11,600 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Rising Star’ stayed top with 7,700 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’ repeat at 14:15 with 6,300 viewers and ‘Colors Ke Sang Antakshari Ke Rang’ at 19:30 with 5,600 viewers.
