Overnights: PSL 2016 continues lead on Prime TV

Prime TV’s acquisition of the ongoing Pakistan Super League is paying dividends for the channel, well at least in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The tournament has given Prime TV its best ever audience ratings with last night’s game between Lahore and Quetta at 15:30 registering 26,400 viewers – peaking at 47,000 viewers. The highlights package at 22:05 pulled in 8,500 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ was top show with 147,600 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 127,300 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 126,300 viewers. New show ‘Tamaana’ has climed up in UK ratings with 83,000 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ led with 33,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Udaan’ at 19:30 with 29,800 viewers and ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 25,200 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ attracted 60,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ at 21:00 with 59,300 viewers and ‘Udaan’ at 18:30 with 58,100 viewers. ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 was in fourth with 56,000 viewers.
On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ delivered 24,700 viewers, followed by ‘Begusarai’ at 22:00 with 18,500 viewers and ‘Adhuri Kahani Hamari’ at 21:30 with 14,700 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Kahi Un Kahi’ at 21:00 registered 75,100 viewers, followed by ‘Preet Na Kariyo Koi’ at 20:00 with 30,500 viewers and ‘Mera Dard Na Jane Koi’ at 19:00 with 30,300 viewers. ‘Ishq-e-Benam’ at 19:30 pulled in 27,300 viewers.
On Geo TV, ‘Teri Meri Jodi’ at 20:00 attracted 6,500 viewers, followed by ‘Babul Ka Angna’ at 19:30 with 4,100 viewers.
