Overnights: Prime TV shoots back at No.1 in Sunday UK ratings

Prime TV once again beat its rivals to take the No.1 position in UK ratings on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

This is the third time last week that Prime TV has beaten market leader, Star Plus in ratings. Prime TV delivered a share of 0.14%. The latter slipped to No.2 with a share of 0.11%. Prime TV has been on a ratings high with its coverage of the ongoing Pakistan Super League. Remarkably, yesterday, Prime TV only aired one game at 15:30 with over 40,000 viewers tuning, which was enough for the channel to surpass its rivals. Its coverage peaked at 74,500 viewers around 16:45.

Hum TV, the second UK broadcaster of the PSL, managed to rake in 7,200 viewers for its coverage. Its share was fairly decent at 0.06%.

Star Plus’ top rated shows were ‘India’s Next Superstars’ at 20:00 with 32,300 viewers, followed by movie ‘Judwaa 2’ at 17:00 with 24,800 viewers.

Hum TV, Sony Entertainment Television, Colors and &TV all clocked a share of 0.04%. ‘The Voice India – Kids’ Grand Finale at 19:30 only fetched 11,100 viewers.

ZEE TV remained low at 0.01% share.
