Overnights: Prime TV remains favourite for PSL 2017

There was a lot of confusion over the UK telecast partner prior to the start of the Pakistan Super League this year. It was eventually revealed that four broadcasters will be showing the tournament in the UK territory.

Two weeks into the tournament, its official, Prime TV is the most preferred broadcaster for the ongoing series. The channel has remained miles ahead of its rivals – Geo TV, A Plus Europe and UK 44.

Looking at yesterday’s figures, the live coverage between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, which commenced at 15:30 was watched by 34,900 viewers on Prime TV – peaking at 52,400 viewers.

Geo TV raked in an average 4,000 viewers – peaking at 16,300 viewers, while UK 44 during the same slot registered around 1,000 viewers. A Plus Europe rated zero throughout the day.

Above data is an overnight rating supplied by Attentional – and may change slightly after consolidated figures become available in seven days from BARB.
