Overnights: NTV Europe smashes ratings record on Tuesday

Bengali infotainment channel, NTV Europe smashed its own ratings record after delivering its best ever figures on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

NTV Europe’ share stood at 0.12% – coming second place, only to Star Plus, which led with 0.18%. Surprisingly, NTV Europe has been gathering pace over the past few weeks and its latest ratings has surprised many. It beat Indian TV giants like Sony Entertainment Television (0.04%), ZEE TV (0.04%) and Colors (0.03%). NTV did well during its daytime schedule around midday but it was the evening schedule post 18:00 that gave the channel an edge over its rivals.

Star Plus remained on top with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ pulling in 90,900 viewers, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 83,800 viewers and ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 78,800 viewers.

Hum Masala stayed strong with its cricket coverage between Pakistan and West Indies. The final day’s coverage attracted over 40,000 viewers from 15:00. The channel’s share was also better than usual with 0.12%.

Sister channel, Hum TV garnered a share of 0.06% with ‘Dil-e-Muztar’ at 21:00 pulling in 24,200 viewers.
