Overnights: New Vision TV climbs back to No.2 in UK on New Year’s Day

New Vision TV continued its good run in UK ratings by clinching the No.2 spot in overall ratings, while it remained solid in the South Asian news genre, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

New Vision TV was at No.2 with a share of 0.08%, on par with Star Gold. The two channels were beaten by Colors, which had a marginal lead of 0.09%. Dunya News was the second most watched South Asian news channel with a share of 0.03%, followed by Geo News and Samaa TV with 0.01% and Hum News and 92 News with zero.

New Vision TV’s biggest attractions were ‘The Reporters’ at 20:00 with 34,200 viewers, followed by ‘Off The Record’ at 21:00 with 34,000 viewers. The 22:00 ‘Headline News’ also did well with 37,700 viewers.
