Star Plus remained the most watched Asian channel in the UK with new shows also proving a success on Wednesday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel’s recently launched three new shows did well with ‘Silsila Pyaar Ka’ at 20:30 delivering 115,900 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Tamanna’ at 21:30 with 93,700 viewers and ‘Dahleez’ doubling its audience since its launch on Monday with 85,800 viewers. However, it was the old shows that continued to dominate the chart with ‘Mere Angne Mein’ claiming lead with 140,200 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 137,300 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 125,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ was the nation’s favourite show with 29,600 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Uttaran’ at 19:30 with 27,900 viewers and ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 13,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ was most watched with 67,600 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00 with 52,700 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 41,700 viewers. New show ‘Kasam’ is yet to make a mark with just 14,700 viewers tuning in at 20:30.

On &TV, ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ at 21:00 registered 23,500 viewers, followed by ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 11,500 viewers and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 11,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mana Ka Gharana’ took lead with 62,200 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Humnasheen’ at 21:00 with 54,000 viewers and ‘Ishq-e-Benaam’ at 19:30 with 53,000 viewers. ‘Kisse Chahoon’ at 22:00 pulled in 35,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Devrani Jethani’ at 22:00 topped ratings with 20,700 viewers, followed by ‘Noor Jehan’ at 21:00 with 17,500 viewers and ‘Babul Ka Angna’ at 19:30 with 17,200 viewers.
