Overnights: Nearly 1m viewers tune in for Bollywood show on BBC Two

As a part of the BBC’s Big British Asian Summer output, BBC Two aired a special show on the Indian film industry.

The show titled ‘Bollywood: The World’s Biggest Film Industry’ was watched by 886,300 viewers between 21:00 – 22:00, giving the channel a share of 5.15%. While the initial numbers seem promising, the slot’s share was down slightly by 5.35%.

‘Bollywood: The World’s Biggest Film Industry’ was fronted by Anita Rani, who was invited on the sets of ‘Fanney Khan’, watching Anil Kapoor shoot for the new release. The second episode of the two-parter, will be aired next Monday night.
