Overnights: ‘Nach Baliye 9’ launch lifts Star Plus to No.1 on Friday in UK

The launch of Star Plus’ much awaited reality show ‘Nach Baliye 9′ was enough to give Star Plus a surge in UK ratings on Friday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus’ share hovered around the 0.15% mark, ahead of other rivals such as PTC Punjabi with 0.13%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.10%, Hum TV with 0.08%, Geo TV and Venus TV with 0.05%, Sony SAB TV and New Vision TV with 0.04%, Colors, Star Bharat, BritAsia TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.03% and ZEE TV with 0.02%.

Star Plus’ biggest attractions on Friday were ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 57,100 viewers, followed by the launch episode of ‘Nach Baliye 9’ at 20:00 with 50,600 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 44,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 29,100 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 19:00 with 25,400 viewers and ‘Ek Bhram’ at 18:30 with 15,400 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Ladies Special’ ruled with 37,700 viewers at 21:45, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 34,900 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 27,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Jaal’ at 21:00 was watched by 38,200 viewers, followed by ‘Ishq Zeh-e-Naseeb’ with 28,200 viewers and ‘Main Khwab Bunti Hoon’ with 20,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ led with 12,600 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ was watched by 9,300 viewers.
