There is no stopping ‘Nach Baliye 5’ topping the weekend ratings on Star Plus, the show once again was the UK’s most watched Asian programme on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia from Attentional.

‘Nach Baliye 5’ pulled in a fantastic 237,400 – peaking at 301,800 – one of the best audiences for the show since it launched in December. The dance show got nearly three times more the audience than the second placed show ‘Arjun’. The crime/thriller programme, which also airs on Star Plus at 20:00 got 96,900 viewers. The musical film ‘Rock On’ starring Arjun Rampal at 22:30 attracted 15,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, the movie ‘Gangster’ at 18:30 could only manage to muster in 22,100 viewers. However, it was ‘Shaitaan’ at 21:30 – which was the most watched on the channel with 24,900 viewers – peaking at 32,800.

On UMP Movies, ‘Aiyyaa’ starring Rani Mukherji was watched by 54,900 between 21:00 and midnight.

On Star Gold, ‘Chandni Bar’ pulled in 7,700 viewers between 20:00 – 23:00.

On Zing, ‘Trendsetters’ at 17:00 was the channel’s most watched show garnering 12,500 viewers. The longest running locally produced film magazine show ‘Brits Bollywood’ managed to attract 1,100 viewers.
