Overnights: ‘Nach Baliye 5’ triumphs in ratings

‘Nach Baliye 5’ continued to outshine rivals by claiming the top spot amongst UK Asian TV shows last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia from Attentional.

On Saturday, the hit dance reality show pulled in 196,600 – peaking at 277,200 during course of the 90-minute extravaganza. The show had an average share of 0.91 per cent. The spin-off show ‘Nach Baliye 5 – Parde Pe Peeche’ at 22:30 also did well with 92,000 viewers.

Overall, it was a winning night for Star Plus with the weekend episode ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 19:00 attracting 110,300 viewers – peaking at 141,300. ‘Arjun’ at 20:00 got 72,100 viewers – peaking at 111,600.

On Rishtey, ‘Shaitaan’ continued to do well at 21:30 with 39,800 viewers in the 60-minute slot.

On Zing, the omnibus of ‘Cloud 9’ between 17:30 and 20:00 generated a near zero rating – peaking at 2,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:30 was once again the most watched on the channel with 47,800 and just behind it was ‘Welcome’ at 20:00 with 44,900 viewers. In third place was the ‘Welcome’ omnibus between 16:30 and 19:00 with 26,900. The Live Hero Hockey India League Semi Final 2 between 14:30 and 16:30 pulled in around 600 viewers – peaking at 13,400.
