Star Plus’ hit dance show ‘Nach Baliye 5’ has managed to remain the UK’s most watched Asian TV show on Saturday despite a slight drop in viewers last night.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Nach Baliye 5’ at 21:00 raked in 163,700 – peaking to 211,900 viewers. It was down from last Saturday’s rating of 196,600. Nevertheless, the show was easily the most watched Asian programme yesterday with twice the audience than the second placed show.

‘Nach Baliye Parde Ke Peeche’ at 22:30 was watched by 41,600 – peaking at 48,300 viewers.

Also on Star Plus, the Maha Episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 19:00 garnered an audience of 108,400 at 19:00, with another 16,700 viewers tuning in for the repeat at 23:00.

The crime thriller show ‘Arjun’ got one of the best ratings yesterday with 113,100 viewers tuning in at 20:00. It peaked to 140,400 during the course of the show.

On UMP Movies, the premiere of ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor got the channel 50,600 viewers at 21:00. Meanwhile, the omnibus edition of ‘Cloud 9’ on Zing attracted 4,000 viewers – peaking to over 20,000 viewers during the 2.5 hours the show was on.
