Star Plus’ mega new show ‘Naamkarann’ produced by Mahesh Bhatt, has remained on the lower side in UK ratings after a decent launch.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com, ‘Naamkarann’ in the 21:00 slot last night fetched just 41,000 viewers – making it one of the under performers on the channel yesterday. On Monday, it started with an audience of around 70,000 viewers, since then slipped to around 30,000 viewers. Last night’s audience fared a little better than the last couple of nights but a far cry from ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, which regularly attracted over 100,000 viewers. It still early days for ‘Naamkarann’ so it remains to be seen how well it does in the long run.

Star Plus’ biggest show last night was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 107,000 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 102,500 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 85,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Krishndasi’ led with 31,100 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 with 12,400 viewers and ‘Udann’ at 20:30 with 6,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ remained on top with 59,500 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00 with 25,500 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 19,500 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ delivered 25,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 6,400 viewers and ‘Waaris’ at 19:00 with 5,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ek Tamanna Lahahil Si’ at 21:00 pulled in 38,100 viewers, followed by ‘Deewana’ at 22:00 with 34,000 viewers and ‘Sang-e-Mar Mar’ at 20:00 with 31,100 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Meri Saheli Meri Bhabhi’ at 19:30 raked in 21,800 viewers, followed by ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’ at 21:00 with 9,400 viewers and ‘Marzi’ at 20:00 with 6,800 viewers.
