MTV Beats is certainly turning up the heat on its rival, B4U Music in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
While MTV Beats still has a long way to go to catch up with B4U Music – the UK’s most watched South Asian music channel, it did have a slight edge over the latter in Thursday ratings.
In all-day ratings (06:00 – 26:00), MTV Beats delivered an average audience of 0.7, compared to B4U Music’s 0.6 average. B4U Music did have a higher peak with 13,300 viewers, compared to MTV Beats’ peak of 9,700 viewers.
During the coveted primetime (19:00 – 24:00), MTV Beats registered 0.8, while B4U Music raked in 1,000 viewers. Again, B4U Music had a higher peak of 13,300 viewers.
