Overnights: Movie channels lead the way on Saturday in UK

It was the movie genre that took lead in UK ratings on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Colors Cineplex clocked up a share of 0.10% followed by Star Gold with 0.09% Sony MAX and ZEE Cinema were next with 0.08%, B4U Movies with 0.05% and Sony MAX 2 with 0.02%.

Colors Cineplex’s top attractions were ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ (pictured) at 14:30 with 36,300 viewers and ‘Ishq Vishk’ at 11:30 with 10,500 viewers.

Star Gold also did well with the repeat telecast of ‘Chhapak’ pulling in 26,400 viewers, followed by ‘Chhichhore’ at 18:00 with 19,700 viewers.

On Sony MAX, ‘Kabir Singh’ topped ratings with 21,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ at 13:30 with 9,700 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ led with 13,800 viewers at 14:15, followed by ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ at 10:30 with 9,100 viewers.

In terms of entertainment channels, Sony Entertainment Television led with 0.06%, followed by Hum TV with 0.05%, Colors with 0.04%, Star Plus, ZEE TV, B4U Music and Geo TV with 0.03%, Star Bharat with 0.02%.
