Overnights: ‘Mom’ premiere beats ‘Tubelight’ on Sunday in UK

The UK television premiere of ‘Mom’ starring Sridevi on ZEE Cinema performed better than Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ on Star Gold, according to Sunday data obtained exclusively by BizAsiaLive.com .

The action thriller ‘Mom’, which aired at 18:00 on ZEE Cinema pulled in 25,000 viewers – peaking at 43,200 viewers, while ‘Tubelight’, which underperformed at the box office, could only manage 20,300 viewers at 14:30.

Other movies that did well on UK Asian television were ‘Namastey London’ at 19:00 on Rishtey Cineplex with 16,100 viewers and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ on Sony MAX at 20:00 with 14,900 viewers.

However, there was reprieve for Star Gold, which registered a share of 0.07% – that was more than ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema, Sony TV, Sony MAX and Colors.
