Overnights: ‘Meri Gudiya’ on Star Bharat clinches No.1 spot on Thursday
Colors remained top in UK ratings on Boxing Day, Thursday, but with just a marginal lead over its rivals, who fought for the No.2 spot, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
Colors was top with a share of 0.08%, followed by Star Plus and Hum TV with 0.07%, New Vision TV and PTC Punjabi with 0.06%, Sony Entertainment Television, Sony SAB TV, Colors Cineplex and Star Gold with 0.04%, Star Bharat, Geo TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.03%, ZEE TV, Colors Rishtey, B4U Movies, Sony MAX and Sony MAX 2 with 0.02%.
In terms of programmes, newly launched series ‘Meri Gudiya’ on Star Bharat clinched the No.1 spot in UK ratings for the first time. It was watched by 57,100 viewers at 21:30 – peaking at 57,500 viewers. The channel’s other high performers were ‘Eat This Meri Jaan’ at 18:30 with 11,000 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ was watched by 45,000 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 12,300 viewers and ‘Bahu Begum’ at 21:00 with 9,200 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ led with 35,500 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 30,100 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 29,200 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 28,800 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 28,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:30 with 14,900 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 22:30 with 13,800 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 11,300 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 6,700 viewers.
On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ was top with 22,300 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ with 18,800 viewers at 19:00, ‘Tara From Satara’ at 19:30 with 16,800 viewers and ‘Beyhadh 2’ at 21:00 with 14,700 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Kun Faya Kun’ repeat was watched by 37,800 viewers at 17:00, followed by original episode at 20:00 with 31,900 viewers and repeat of Tum Mere He Rehna’ at 16:00 with 27,800 viewers.
On ZEE TV, ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 14:00 was top show with 16,100 viewers, followed by ‘Offbeat Australia’ at 16:30 with 15,800 viewers and ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ at 14:30 with 15,600 viewers.
