Overnights: ‘Meri Aashiqui’ tops Wednesday UK ratings

Popular series ‘Meri Aashiqui’ managed to overtake all rival shows by topping UK Asian TV ratings on Wednesday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which airs at 20:30 on Rishtey, pulled in an impressive 97,400 viewers – peaking at 129,500 viewers, followed by ‘Laado’ at 21:30 with 54,000 viewers and ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ at 21:00 with 47,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Tere Sheher Mein’ at 22:00 was top show on the channel with 93,600 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 87,600 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 84,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ at 21:30 took lead with 26,700 viewers, followed by ‘Shastri Sisters’ at 20:30 with 27,300 viewers and ‘Code Red’ at 22:00 with 13,800 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ was in pole position with 29,400 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 18,900 viewers and ‘Badii Devrani’ at 21:30 with 11,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, a Hum TV play at 20:00 attracted 42,800 viewers, followed by ‘Muqadas’ at 21:30 with 25,200 viewers.
