‘Meri Aashiqui’ leads Rishtey ratings in UK

The high-end drama in Rishtey’s popular show ‘Meri Aashiqui’ proved a huge success in the ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The series, which airs at 20:30 on Rishtey pulled a massive 139,800 viewers – peaking at 167,700 viewers – it was the second most watched show on UK Asian television last night. ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ on rival, Star Plus remained the leading show with 149,900 viewers.

Also on Star Plus, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 was the second most watched on the channel with 125,900 viewers, followed by ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir’ at 18:00 with 129,500 viewers. ‘Saathiya’ was in fourth at 19:00 with 124,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’ did well with 73,400 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 58,900 viewers and ‘Shastri Sisters’ at 20:30 with 55,400 viewers.

Also on Rishtey, ‘Parichay’ at 20:00 pulled in 85,800 viewers and ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 19:30 with managed 42,900 viewers.

On Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 48,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mahakumbh’ at 20:00 with 17,600 viewers and ‘Comedy Classes’ at 22:00 with 11,600 viewers.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Badi Aapa’ led ratings with 55,300 viewers, followed by ‘Zid’ with 37,300 viewers.
