‘Meri Aashiqui’ returns on top on Colors UK

In a surprise turn of events, Colors’ strategy to re-run two popular shows during the afternoon band topped ratings for the channel on Monday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Meri Aashqui Tumse Hi’, which previously aired on sister channel, Rishtey, made its premiere on Colors in the 14:30 slot yesterday with 9,500 viewers. At 14:00, the re-run of ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ didn’t do as well with just 1,700 viewers. ‘Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi’ was the most watched show on the channel on Monday. ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 was in second with 8,000 viewers, followed by ‘Krishndasi’ at 21:30 with 6,200 viewers and ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 3,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ led with 136,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 107,600 viewers and ‘Siya Ke Ram’ at 20:00 with 95,500 viewers. ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 fetched 92,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ top with 23,300 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00 with 17,400 viewers and ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 with 8,600 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ delivered 23,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by repeat of ‘Gangaa’ at midnight with 12,000 viewers, ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ repeat at 22:30 with 9,700 viewers. ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ repeat at 23:30 with 8,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Aseerzaadi’ at 21:00 pulled in 65,500 viewers, followed by ‘Mann Mayal’ at 20:00 with 48,700 viewers and ‘Khwab Saraye’ at 22:00 with 39,100 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Sang Dil’ topped ratings with 13,900 viewers, followed by ‘Manchali’ at 21:00 with 10,400 viewers.
