The recently launched show ‘Meri Aashiqui’ on Rishtey UK has managed to break a record for the channel by getting the highest ever viewership for a non-reality show.
Previously, films, events and Pakistani show ‘Humsafar’ have got viewers over 150,000 viewers but this is the first time an Indian show on the channel has garnered a record 176,900 viewers – peaking at 195,200 viewers. The show easily beat all the Asian shows on UK television last night. ‘Laado’ at 21:00 also on Rishtey did well with 104,200 viewers and ‘Parichay’ at 20:00 pulled in 96,100 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ was top show with 153,900 viewers, followed by ‘PYar Ka Dard Hai’ with 122,200 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ in third with 112,000 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 8’ was top show with 109,300 viewers, followed by ‘BeIntehaa’ was next with 103,500 viewers and ‘Shastri Sisters’ in third with 59,100 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 38,200 viewers, followed by ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ with 27,700 viewers.
On Hum TV Europe, ‘Kankar’ was back on top with 84,600 viewers.
