'MasterChef India' continues to rule UK TV

‘MasterChef India’ returned to the top of the ratings in the UK last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which has been a runaway success for the channel grabbed 239,900 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 262,600 viewers, followed by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 169,500 viewers and ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ in third with 151,900 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (137,000), ‘Saathiya’ (135,200), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (134,300), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (99,900), ‘Veera’ (65,500) and ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (54,600).

On Rishtey, ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ was the most watched show on the channel with 57,700 viewers, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was next with 44,200 viewers and ‘Jeevan Saathi’ in third with 41,500 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ was the ratings winners yesterday with 40,600 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 23,000 viewers and ‘2613’ got 10,100 viewers.

On Zing, ‘World Of Business’ at 18:00 got 6,400 viewers. ‘Cloud 9’ got 400 viewers at 18:30 but rated zero at 22:30.
