Overnights: ‘MasterChef India’ takes lead in UK

The popular cooking reality show ‘MasterChef India’ took lead in the UK ratings for the first time last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which airs at 21:30 in the UK on Star Plus, grabbed 156,200 viewers – peaking at 167,700 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 126,800 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 120,400 viewers. ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’ at 20:30 did well too with 105,900 viewers.

On Sky Living, ‘Desi Rascals’ delivered its best ever ratings with 126,700 viewers at 20:00. It peaked with 167,600 viewers (audience includes Sky Living +1).

On Colors, ‘Udaan’ was the biggest show with 36,400 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Shastri Sisters’ with 25,600 viewers and ‘Code Red’ with 24,700 viewers. New show ‘Ashoka’ could only manage 16,400 viewers at 21:00.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 stayed ahead with 81,300 viewers, while ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ at 21:30 raked in an impressive 60,200 viewers. ‘Laado’ at 21:00 mustered in 27,800 viewers.

On Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was the leading show with 43,200 viewers, followed by ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 with 29,400 viewers and ‘Comedy Classes’ at 22:00 pulled in 18,000 viewers.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Badi Aapa’ at 21:00 continued its good run with 97,800 viewers, followed by ‘Zid’ at 20:00 with 54,400 viewers.

On Venus TV, ‘Q & A with P.J Mir’ at 21:00 raked in 7,500 viewers.
