Hit cookery reality television show ‘MasterChef India’stormed UK ratings on Saturday night with its first episode of the new series, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘MasterChef India’, which aired at 20:00 pulled in 145,900 viewers – peaking at 172,800 viewers – giving the channel a much needed push on Saturday night. It was beaten to the top by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 166,500 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 115,800 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 106,600 viewers.

On Colors, ’24 India’ raked in 15,300 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Kawach’ at 22:30 with 8,500 viewers and repeat of ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ at 23:30 with 7,200 viewers (original at 20:00 pulled in 5,500 viewers).

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ led at 18:30 with 20,700 viewers, followed by ‘Thaki’ at 20:00 with 7,200 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 6,700 viewers.

On &TV, ‘The Voice India – Kids’ at 20:00 remained ahead with 22,200 viewers, followed by movie ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ at 16:00 with 10,600 viewers and ‘Boom’ at 21:30 with 4,400 viewers.

On Rishtey Cineplex, movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’ at 21:00 delivered 6,900 viewers, followed by ‘Heartless’ at 13:40 with 3,300 viewers.

On SAB TV, 80s movie ‘Insaaf Ka Tarazu’ at 19:55 pulled in 10,400 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ at 16:45 with 9,500 viewers and ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ at 13:$0 with 5,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Maat’ led the channel’s ratings with 32,900 viewers, followed by ‘Saturday Night Special’ at 22:00 with 23,400 viewers and ‘Laaj’ at 20:00 with 18,800 viewers.
