Star Plus’s hit cookery show ‘MasterChef India’ returned back to the top in the UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show pulled in 207,300 at 20:00 – peaking at 224,500. In second place was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 188,000, followed by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 184,100 viewers and ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ with 175,700 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Veera’ with 143,200, ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 122,100, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 105,500 and ‘Saathiya’ with 102,600 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Amrit Manthan’ was the most watched show with 20,500 viewers, ‘Savdhaan India’ was next with 20,100 viewers and ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ with 13,000 in third. ‘Ek Thi Naayka’ at 22:00 rated zero.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ was the channel’s most watched show with a record 71,800 viewers, followed by ‘Chidiyaghar’ with 41,700 viewers and ‘BaalVeer’ at 20:00 with 38,100 viewers.

On Zing, the pre-Holi celebrations in ‘Cloud 9’ at 18:30 attracted just under 1,000 viewers but rated zero at 22:30. ‘World Of Bollywood’ at 18:00 attracted 6,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, new show ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ pulled in 29,100 viewers. However, it was ‘Bairi Piya’ at 20:30 that topped the channel’s ratings with 87,100 viewers. In second place was ‘Jeevan Saathi’ with 67,600 viewers.
