Overnights: ‘Mahabharat’ takes lead in UK
‘Mahabharat’ emerged as the most watched show on UK Asian television last nigt, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
The popular mythlogical show, pulled in the biggest audience last night with 163,300 viewers – first time the show has topped ratings in the UK. ‘Saathiya’ was next with 156,000 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ in third with 148,800 viewers. The 15-year leap in ‘Veera’ at 22:30 was less popular with just 112,100 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Parichay’ was the most watched show with 124,600 viewers, while ‘Bigg Boss 7’ was top on sister channel Colors with 72,900 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ was on top of the ratings with 24,300 viewers.
On Zing, ‘Bollywood Life’ at 22:00 was top with 21,600 viewers.
