Overnights: Life Ok Now Awards makes slow start in UK
The launch of Life Ok Now Awards on Star life Ok last night proved a disappointment for the channel, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
The event which will air every month recognising the best of movies each month, pulled in 33,600 viewers between 20:00 – 22:00 – peaking at 58,600 viewers. The slot certainly saw a boost in ratings than usual and with more awareness of the event, it can deliver higher figures in months to come.
The ‘Behind The Scenes’ of Life Ok Now Awards that followed straight after the main event at 22:00 garnered just 1,900 viewers – peaking at 4,600 viewers.
On flagship channel, Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ was the biggest attraction with 123,200 viewers tuning in at 19:00, followed by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ at 19:30 with 113,600 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 got 109,000 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ brought in 93,300 viewers at 22:00. The Maha Sangam episode featuring ‘BeIntehaa’ and ‘Rangrasiya’ at 21:00 managed to attract 58,800 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Aamna Saamna’ got the biggest ever ratings at 21:30 with 95,400 viewers, followed by Pakistani drama ‘Aasmano Pe Likha Hai’ at 20:30 with just 8,300 viewers.
