While Star Plus continued its reign at the top of the UK Asian TV ratings, sister channel, Star Life Ok comfortably took the second spot on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Star Plus’ ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ easily was the most watched show on UK Asian television with 242,200 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at an impressive 270,500 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ with 187,300 viewers and ‘Mahabharat’ in third with 165,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Uttaran’ was the most watched show with 35,400 viewers, followed by ‘Rangrasiya’ with 29,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laado’ was top with 29,700 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 13,500 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ remained top with 62,500 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 42,200 viewers.

The fight for second spot amongst UK Asian TV channels took a turn with Star Life Ok delivering an all-day average of 7,500 viewers, Hum Europe was in third with 4,600 viewers, while Colors mustered in 3,800 viewers and Rishtey with 3,600 viewers. The primetime schedule was led by Star Plus, followed by Star Life Ok, Colors, Hum Europe and Rishtey.
