Star Life Ok’s recent programming tweaks seem to be striking the right chord with viewers with its new show ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ getting record ratings last night.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ at 22:00 pulled in a huge 84,500 viewers – peaking at 106,100 viewers – beating channels like Colors and Rishtey in the same slot. ‘Uttaran’ at 22:00 on Colors drew 31,200 viewers, while ‘Parichay’ repeat at 22:00 on Rishtey pulled in 13,000 viewers. Only sister channel, Star Plus’ ‘PYar Ka Dard Hai’ did better in the same slot with 105,000 viewers.

Also on Star Life Ok, ‘Geet’ re-run at 14:30 was second most watched show on the channel with 33,300 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 26,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ was top show with 198,900 viewers – peaking at 223,900 viewers, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ with 178,800 viewers at 20:30. ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ was in third with 161,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Rangrasiya’ was top with 21,500 viewers. ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 managed to rake in 13,400 viewers, followed by ‘BeIntehaa’ with 9,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Mrs Pammi Pyarelal’ was top show with 23,100 viewers, followed by ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ repeat at 22:30 with 15,200 viewers.

On Hum Europe, fiction ‘Dil Tumpe Aagaya’ at 21:00 was the channel’s top rated show with 16,400 viewers – peaking at 37,000 viewers. In second place was ‘Bhagti Bareera’ at 20:00 with 15,000 viewers.
