Overnights: ‘KWK’ edges out ‘GIMA Awards’
It was the turn of ‘Koffee With Karan’ to spell magic for Star Plus last night as it edged out the much publicised ‘Global Indian Music Academy Awards’ in the UK.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Koffee With Karan’ featuring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha was watched by 146,600 viewers at 19:00 – peaking at 161,900 viewers. The ‘GIMA Awards’ at 20:00 attracted 146,000 viewers – peaking much higher with 263,900 viewers. The ‘Magical Moments of GIMA Awards’ at 23:30 pulled in 22,800 viewers.
On Colors, ‘India’s Got Talent’ was the top show with 55,200 viewers, followed by ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ which saw a ratings decline to 44,400 viewers.
On Rishtey, Pakistani drama ‘Mera Naseeb’ could manage to attract 5,400 viewers but ‘Aamne Samne’ at 21:30 was the biggest draw with 11,100 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was watched by 55,300 viewers at 22:00.
On Zing, ‘Bollywood Families’ at 16:30 attracted 32,600 viewers, followed by ‘Trendsetters’ at 17:00 with 21,200 viewers.
