Abhishek Bachchan and sister Shweta Bachchan’s appearance on ‘Koffee With Karan’ last night, helped give Star Plus an edge over its rivals with a huge ratings boost, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
‘Koffee With Karan’ delivered an impressive 63,900 viewers – peaking at 99,100 viewers, making it the biggest episode of the season. It was also the No.1 show across all Asian TV networks last night. ‘Dance+ 4′ also did well with 41,700 viewers at 20:00.
Star Plus’ share was at 0.11%, followed by Sony TV with 0.07%, Colors and Sony SAB TV with 0.06%, Star Gold with 0.05%, Hum TV, Star Bharat, ZEE TV and PTC Punjabi with 0.03%.
Sony Entertainment stayed strong with ‘Super Dancer – Chapter 3’ at 20:00 pulling in 33,500 viewers, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 31,500 viewers.
Colors’ biggest attractions were ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 21:00 with 24,900 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 18:00 with 11,500 viewers and ‘Inside Access’ at 19:30 with 9,500 viewers.
Hum TV’s biggest leads with ‘Zid’ pulling in 14,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Tajeed-e-Wafa’ at 20:00 with 13,700 viewers.
On ZEE TV, movie ‘Dhadkan’ pulled in 8,700 viewers at 15:30, followed by ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ at 20:00 with 8,500 viewers and ‘The Place To Eat’ at 19:30 with 6,100 viewers.
On Star Bharat, ‘Savdhaan India’ topped ratings with 9,000 viewers at 14:00, followed by ‘Jiji Maa’ at 16:00 with 8,200 viewers.
