Overnights: ‘KBC’ on Sony TV beats Star Plus in 21:00 slot

Hit gameshow ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ continued to give Sony Entertainment Television an edge over its rivals Colors and ZEE TV. It also managed to beat Star Plus in the 21:00 slot on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 21:00 delivered 50,400 viewers for the first time. It peaked at 83,600 viewers. Star Plus’ 21:00 – 22:30 slot averaged at 31,700 viewers, while Hum TV averaged with 39,600 viewers during the same time.

Also on Sony TV, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 18:00 pulled in 9,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat’ at 20:30 raked in 3,200 viewers and ‘Ganesh’ repeat at 17:30 with 2,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ led with 80,700 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 72,700 viewers at 19:30, ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 70,500 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 18:00 with 59,200 viewers. ‘Chandra Nandini’ raked in 57,900 viewers and ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ at 20:00 with 55,700 viewers. ‘Meri Durga’ led the afternoon slot with 34,300 viewers at 12:30.

On Hum TV, ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 pulled in 58,800 viewers, followed by ‘Ulu Baraye Farokht Nahi’ with 58,300 viewers and ‘Thori Si Wafa’ at 19:30 with 31,900 viewers.

On Hum Masala, ‘Tarka’ at 15:00 pulled in 26,100 viewers, followed by ‘Handi’ at 16:00 with 22,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’ at 18:30 raked in 8,000 viewers, followed by ‘Swabhimaan’ at 21:30 with 4,800 viewers and ‘Udann’ at 20:30 with 4,200 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey’ at 22:00 delivered 6,900 viewers, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 21:30 with 6,300 viewers and ‘Piyaa Albela’ at 20:00 delivered 5,900 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Zoya Sawleha’ at 22:00 attracted 3,800 viewers, followed by ‘Rani’ at 21:00 with 1,200 viewers.
