Overnights: ‘KBC 11’ puts Sony TV at No.1 on Friday in UK

Sony Entertainment Television returned to the No.1 position in UK ratings on Friday, owing it to the popular gameshow ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 11’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The Amitabh Bachchan fronted series, started off on a quiet note earlier this week but has bounced back with an audience of 43,600 viewers between 21:00 – 22:30 on Sony TV. The channel’s other big draws were ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 30,500 viewers, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:30 with 25,600 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 29,200 viewers.

Despite this, Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ was the UK’s most watched show on Friday with 48,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 46,400 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 39,300 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 30,300 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 25,000 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 24,700 viewers, ‘Ek Bhram’ at 18:30 with 12,100 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 23:30 with 7,900 viewers, ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:30 with 4,200 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 22:00 with 1,200 viewers.

In terms of share, Sony TV attracted a share of 0.14%, followed by Star Plus with 0.12%, Hum TV with 0.10%, BritAsia TV with 0.07%, Geo TV, Colors Rishtey and NDTV 24×7 with 0.04%, New Vision TV and Sony SAB TV with 0.03%, ZEE TV, Colors, PTC Punjabi and Star Bharat with 0.02%.

On Hum TV, ‘Jaal’ was watched by 39,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ishq Zeh-e-Naseeb’ at 20:00 with 20,100 viewers and ‘Kun Faya Kun’ repeat at 22:00 with 16,300 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Bharosa Pyar Tera’ at 21:00 attracted 15,500 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Rajaa Betaa’ led with 11,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ topped ratings with 20,200 viewers.
