Overnights: ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ makes decent start in UK

Sony Entertainment Television’s big ticket show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati returned for its ninth season run and topped the channel’s ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The show attracted 23,700 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 30,000 viewers. It was the most watched show on Sony TV last night on a relatively disappointing night. ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 18:00 pulled in 1,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Chakravyuh’ at 18:00 led with 96,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 65,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 64,900 viewers and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 61,600 viewers and ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 58,900 viewers. ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ at 20:00 fetched just 39,600 viewers.
