Overnights: ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ strengthens Star Plus on Friday in UK

Star Plus’ recently launched show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has been slowly climbing up the popularity charts, with latest data suggesting it was No.1 last night in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus was easily the No.1 Asian TV channel on Friday with a share of 0.19%. The channel’s most watched shows were ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 91,300 viewers, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 84,900 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 75,900 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 70,600 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 61,200 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 48,100 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 22:00 with 24,000 viewers and ‘Karn Sangini’ at 21:30 with 15,700 viewers.

Other channels in the pecking order were Sony TV with a share of 0.08%, New Vision TV with 0.06%, Colors and Hum Masala with 0.05%, Hum TV, Star Gold, Geo TV and Sony SAB TV with 0.04%, PTC Punjabi with 0.03% and ZEE TV and &TV with 0.02% each.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 28,100 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 20,900 viewers, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 20,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ was watched by 33,500 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Silsila’ at 22:15 with 16,900 viewers and ‘Bepannaah’ at 22:45 with 11,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Band Khirkiyan’ at 22:00 fetched 20,400 viewers, followed by ‘Baandi’ at 20:00 with 13,400 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ at 19:30 was top show with 11,500 viewers, followed by ‘Crime Patrol with 10,700 viewers at 21:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 pulled in 21,900 viewers, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 20:00 with 12,000 viewers.

On Star Gold, ‘Guest Iin London’ at 18:30 was biggest film on Asian TV on Friday with 16,300 viewers.
