Overnights: ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ soars to No.1 on Thursday in UK

Star Plus’ much talked about recent launch ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ hit the top spot in UK ratings on Thursday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

This is the first time ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has crossed the 100k mark since its launch a couple of weeks ago. It was watched by 101,100 viewers at 21:00 – making it the top show on UK Asian television on Thursday. It was followed by strong players ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 96,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 95,600 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 84,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 56,500 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 56,400 viewers and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 41,300 viewers.

Star Plus’ share was at 0.23%, followed in the ratings by New Vision TV with 0.08%, Sony TV and Hum TV with 0.06%, Colors and Geo TV with 0.05%, Star Bharat with 0.04% and ZEE TV with 0.02%.

Sony TV’s top attraction was ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 21:00 with 39,000 viewers, while ‘Bigg Boss 12’ led Colors with 37,600 viewers.

Hum TV was up with ‘Tawaan’ at 20:00 pulling in 29,100 viewers and ‘Mann Maail’ with 21,700 viewers.

Star Bharat’s top shows were ‘Jiji Maa’ at 19:30 with 21,500 viewers and ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:00 with 19,600 viewers.
