Overnights: ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ gives ZEE Cinema boost on Sunday in UK

Aamir Khan’s cult classic ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ was the biggest movie on UK Asian TV on Sunday, putting ZEE Cinema at No.1, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The film, which aired at 18:00 on ZEE Cinema was watched by 21,400 viewers. ‘Mr Natwarlal’ starring Amitabh Bachchan pulled in 11:30 with 11,000 viewers.

B4U Movies also did well with a share of 0.07%. It is worth noting that both ZEE Cinema and B4U Movies grabbed a share of 0.07% – No.2 overall in UK ratings on Sunday after Sony TV (0.09%). ‘Ra.One’ was the channel’s biggest film with 20,400 viewers, followed by ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ with 14,600 viewers.

Rishtey Cineplex was at No.2 with a share of 0.03% with ‘Hungama’ pulling in 7,400 viewers, Star Gold and Sony MAX were next with a share of 0.02%.

Outside the movie channels, ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ on Sony SAB TV pulled in 8,400 viewers at 14:00. ‘Wanted’ on ZEE TV raked in 9,300 viewers, followed by ‘Khubsoorat’ with 8,500 viewers. ‘Jolly LLB 2’ on Star Plus delivered 5,600 viewers at 13:00.
