The latest episode of dance reality TV show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ on Colors faced stiff competition from its sister channel, Rishtey.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ on Colors could only manage to muster in 36,800 viewers average between 21:00 – 22:30. This was the first episode featuring new host, Manish Paul – replacing Drashti Dhami. During the same time, Rishtey’s Pakistani drama ‘Aasman Pe Likha Hai’ at 20:30 was slightly ahead with 37,200 viewers and discussion show ‘Aamna Saamna’ at 21:30 did even better with 54,700 viewers.
Colors’ ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 pulled in 51,600 viewers – peaking at 76,400 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ returned to the top of the UK Asian TV ratings with 129,900 viewers, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ with 118,900 viewers and ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ with 117,900 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, the Big Life Ok Now Awards for June pulled in 17,200 viewers between 20:00 and 22:00.
