Overnights: ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ wins Sunday UK ratings

‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ won the Sunday night ratings battle in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Data for last night shows ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ was the most watched show on UK Asian television. It pulled in 47,500 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 79,100 viewers. ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ featuring Naseerudin Shah at 20:00 raked in 43,900 viewers, while ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ was in third with 40,100 viewers at 22:30.

Star Plus’ three-hour ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ spin-off show at 20:00 could only manage 11,300 viewers at 20:00.

On Rishtey, ‘Aamna Saamna’ at 21:30 was top with 40,100 viewers. Pakistani show ‘Aasmano Pe Likha Hai’ could only pulled in around 1,000 viewers at 20:30.

On Hum Europe, ‘Ahista Ahista’ at 20:00 was top with 31,000 viewers, followed by ‘Mithoo Aur Aapa’ at 21:00 with 18,200 viewers.
