In a relatively quiet night in UK Asian TV ratings last night, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ started off on a slow note, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The much hyped reality TV show on Colors launched in the 21:00 – 22:45 slot with 24,200 viewers – peaking at 66,100 viewers. The show’s ratings disappointed, compared to last year’s launch, which pulled in 101,300 viewers (read here). Ratings are expected to pick up again next week with the month of Ramadan coming to an end. Elsewhere, ‘Shastri Sisters’ at 20:30 delivered 16,700 viewers and ‘Code Red’ at 22:45 got 6,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ repeat at 23:00 attracted 53,200 viewers (original episode at 19:30 with 50,400 viewers), followed by ‘Veera’ with 43,400 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 36,000 viewers.

On &TV, ‘The Voice India’ fetched 21,000 viewers – peaking at 35,800 viewers and ‘Tujhse Naaraz Nahi Zindagi’ at 20:00 with 4,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Kitni Girhain Bakhi Hai’ at 22:30 was top with 13,600 viewers, followed by ‘Yahan Pyaar Nahi Hai’ at 21:30 with 11,900 viewers and ‘Iftaar Package’ at 21:00 raked in 7,600 viewers. ‘MOL’ at 20:00 could only manage 3,700 viewers.
