Colors’ much publicised reality TV show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ was severely hit in the ratings last night (Saturday) after it got one of the lowest ratings of the series, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which airs at 21:00 on Colors, pulled in a shockingly low 8,600 viewers – peaking at 20,200 viewers. The slot usually attracts over 50,000 viewers but could have been affected by the ongoing FIFA World Cup last night and Ramadan. The popular show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 was easily the most watched show on the channel with 57,000 viewers – peaking at 123,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ was the biggest success last night with 125,700 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 94,200 viewers and ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ with 87,100 viewers. It was a generally quiet night in terms of ratings on the channel.

On Rishtey, Pakistani drama ‘Aasmano Pe Likha Hai’ at 20:30 attracted 36,700 viewers, while discussion show ‘Aamna Saamna’ was next with 27,800 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ remained the most watched with 12,100 viewers.
