Overnights: IPL leads Saturday ratings

The latest Indian Premier League match on Saturday was the biggest draw amongst Asian shows and events in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The 48th match of the series between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils attracted 205,800 viewers at 15:00 on ITV4 – peaking at 315,900 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘India’s Dancing Superstar’ was the leader on the channel with 166,500 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Arjun’ at 20:00 with 83,200 viewers. ‘India’s Dancing Superstar – Xtra Beats’ at 22:30 pulled in 36,900 viewers and ‘MasterChef India’ earlier in the evening at 19:00 got 31,900 viewers.

On Rishtey, Pakistani drama ‘Humsafar’ once again proved its popularity with the biggest ever audience – it got 131,200 viewers – peaking at 176,900 viewers. ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ re-run from last year got 61,500 viewers.
