Overnights: IPL 2019 keeps Star Gold UK strong on Saturday

Star Gold UK was by far the strongest Asian TV channel on Saturday, on the back of two Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) matches, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold’s share was at 0.28%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.17%, Star Plus, Hum TV, New Vision TV and PTC Punjabi with 0.07%, Sony SAB TV with 0.05%, Colors and ZEE Cinema with 0.04%, Geo TV, Star Bharat, Colors Rishtey and ZEE TV with 0.03%.

Star Gold’s coverage of the IPL 2019 matches on Saturday were watched by 58,400 viewers for the first match between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab at 11:15. The second match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians pulled in 56,400 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Super Dancer – Chapter 3’ was watched by 70,800 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 62,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Divya Drishti’ was top show with 20,800 viewers at 21:30, followed closely behind by ‘The Voice’ at 20:00 with 20,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, repeat of ‘Tajeed-e-Wafa’ at 12:00 was watched by 22,900 viewers, followed by ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ at 20:00 with 17,100 viewers and ‘Ghundi’ at 18:15 with 15,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Rising Star’ was top show with 12,300 viewers at 21:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:30 pulled in 18,300 viewers.
