Overnights: IPL 2019 bowls out rivals on Saturday in UK

Star Gold triumphed in UK ratings with its IPL 2019 coverage on Saturday, bowling out rivals ZEE TV, Colors and sister channel, Star Plus along the way, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold’s share jumped to 0.35%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.11%, PTC Punjabi with 0.10%, Colors and Geo TV with 0.04%, Star Plus, Hum TV, New Vision TV and Colors Rishtey with 0.03%, ARY Family, Star Bharat and Sony SAB TV with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.

Star Gold’s IPL 2019 match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals was watched by 50,200 viewers at 11:20, with another 80,900 viewers tuning in at 15:15 between Kings XI Punjabi and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The channel leapt ahead of its rivals with over three times the share of its nearest rival.

On Sony TV, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 delivered 44,200 viewers, followed by ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 with 23,700 viewers and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 23:00 with 20,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Rising Star’ at 21:00 was top show with 24,700 viewers, followed by ‘Court Room’ at 23:00 with 6,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Divya Drishti’ at 21:30 delivered 12,600 viewers, followed by ‘The Voice’ at 20:00 with just 6,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ at 20:00 topped ratings with 17,400 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Mera Rab Waris’ at 18:00 pulled in 10,300 viewers, followed by ‘Khaani’ at 20:00 with 9,100 viewers and ‘Qaid’ at 17:00 with 8,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ led with 8,600 viewers.
