Overnights: ‘IPKKND 3’ & ‘Tu Sooraj’ bring down Star Plus’ UK ratings

Most Asian channels suffered in UK ratings last night in UK, with Hum TV getting close to overtaking Star Plus, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ worst performing shows last night in UK were ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ with 19,400 viewers at 20:00 and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 16,700 viewers – the two shows got their lowest ratings in the UK. The channel’s top rated show was the newly launched ‘Chakravyuh’, which dropped in audience numbers but did well with 76,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 65,900 viewers and ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 40,400 viewers. Star Plus’ overall day share stood at 0.17%.

Hum TV did well last night with ‘Halki Si Khalish’ delivering 68,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Aadhi Gawahi’ at 22:00 with 47,800 viewers and ‘Phir Wohi Mohabbat’ at 20:00 with 43,800 viewers. The channel’s overall day share stood at 0.15%.

On ZEE TV, ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ repeat at 15:30 fetched 11,000 viewers, followed by ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ repeat at 16:00 with 10,800 viewers and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 21:30 with 9,600 viewers.

On Sony Entertainment Television, ‘Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ at 19:00 attracted 17,000 viewers, followed by ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ at 20:30 with 11,400 viewers and ‘Peshwa Bajirao’ at 19:30 with 3,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swabhimaan’ at 21:30 attracted 30,400 viewers, followed by ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ at 21:00 with 21,100 viewers and ‘Savitri Devi & College’ repeat at 22:30 with 17,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 raked in 16,800 viewers, followed by ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ at 19:00 with 12,100 viewers and ‘Main Teri Parchai Hoon’ at 22:30 with 10,600 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 was watched by 20,300 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ at 20:00 with 15,600 viewers and ‘Badho Bahu’ at 21:00 with 15,300 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Hiddat’ at 21:00 delivered 11,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yaar-e-Bewafa’ at 20:00 with 6,600 viewers and ‘Kabhi Socha Na Tha’ at 22:00 with 6,400 viewers.

Sony MAX surged ahead of ZEE Cinema with ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara’ at 20:00 with 8,200 viewers and ‘Yeh Dillagi’ at 14:20 with 4,500 viewers. ZEE Cinema’s movies line-up yesterday averaged with under 1k viewers. ‘A Flying Jatt’ at 19:00 scored under 1k average but peaked at 21,500 viewers.
