Overnights: ‘IPKKND 3’ stays steady but falls behind others

The third season of cult series ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ on Star Plus remained steady in UK ratings but other shows on the channel accelerated ahead on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The show, which launched on Monday with 83,600 viewers – was up to 85,300 viewers during its second outing – It peaked to 93,200 viewers. As the show progresses, ratings are bound to pick up, which is usually the case for new fictions. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was the biggest show in the UK with 121,800 viewers, followed by ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 110,900 viewers, ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 98,400 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 21:30 with 94,200 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 86,500 viewers. ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Namm Doon – Season 3’ slipped behind these shows.

Earlier in the day, ‘Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee’ at 13:30 was the biggest show in the afternoon with 26,200 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Durga’ at 12:30 with 25,400 viewers and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 13:00 with 17,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Shakti’ was the most watched show on the channel with 21,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Swabhimaan’ at 21:30 with 14,700 viewers and ‘Devanshi’ at 19:00 with 12,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ led with 39,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 with 37,700 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 19,400 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 fetched 13,600 viewers, followed by ‘Waaris’ at 18:00 with 11,100 viewers and ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 18:30 with 10,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sangsaar’ at 19:30 did well with 51,400 viewers, followed by ‘Mohabbat Khwab Safar’ at 22:00 with 44,700 viewers and ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ at 20:00 with 30,900 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Bholi Bano’ at 21:00 fetched 5,500 viewers.

Urdu1 and MTV Beats both rated zero yesterday.
