'Inkaar' premiere proves disappointing on Rishtey

The UK TV premiere of ‘Inkaar’ starring Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh last night on Rishtey, proved disappointing in the ratings.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Inkaar’ was watched by 15,000 viewers between 17:30 and 20:00 – peaking at 31,700 viewers. It was the first time ‘Inkaar’ was shown in the UK since its theatrical release in January.

The new Sunday edition of ‘Jeevan Saathi’ at 20:30 was seen by 24,600 viewers, while ‘Shaitaan’ at 21:30 was down to 12,400 viewers yesterday.

It was Star Plus that retained the ratings crown on Sunday with ‘Nach Baliye 5’ pulling in 182,200 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 283,600 viewers. ‘Arjun’ at 20:00 was another hit for the channel with 97,300 viewers. The repeat telecast of Ajay Devgn film ‘Singham’ at 22:30 got 9,400 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:00 was the channel’s most watched show with 38,000 viewers, followed by ‘Amrit Manthan’ at 20:00 with 10,500 viewers. ‘Shapath’ at 21:00 was next with 7,800 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Dance India Dance Lil Masters’ at 15:00 was the channel’s most watched show with 21,000 viewers, followed by ‘Trendsetters’ at 17:00 with 20,600 viewers. ‘Ten On Ten’ at 18:30 was watched by 3,000 viewers.
