'India's Dancing Superstar' continues to lead

‘India’s Dancing Superstar’ won the UK ratings at the weekend with more viewers than any other rival show, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The Star Plus dance reality TV show pulled n 102,500 viewers on Saturday – peaking at 132,300 viewers and a further 113,200 viewers on Sunday. The spin-off show ‘India’s Dancing Superstar: Xtra Beats’ at 22:30 on Saturday night got 36,100 viewers.

Star Plus’ crime thriller show ‘Arjun’ did well too with 69,800 viewers on Saturday and an impressive 106,200 viewers on Sunday evening.

On rival channel, Rishtey, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ (re-run last year) did well with 90,000 viewers on Saturday night at 21:30 and an extra 86,400 viewers on Sunday night. Pakistani drama ‘Mera Naseeb’ got 66,000 viewers on Saturday and 103,700 viewers on Sunday night.

On Zing, the second episode of locally produced show ‘Grinds My Teeth’ at 17:30 (10 minutes) rated zero. The subsequent show ‘Fanography’ at 17:45 got 1,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top on the channel on Saturday with 41,800 viewers. ‘Shapath’ at 21:00 got 3,400 viewers and another 3,600 viewers for ‘Police Dial 100’ at 23:00.
